MetroWest Daily News: MA Greek eatery makes OpenTable's top 100 restaurants list for 2025

A Greek restaurant in Massachusetts has been named one of OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants in America for 2025.

The spot, located in downtown Boston, was one of only three New England eateries to make the reservation website's list.

OpenTable’s list was compiled from more than 10 million reviews by verified diners between Sept. 1, 2024, and Aug. 31, 2025. Restaurants were selected based on metrics including diner ratings, the percentage of five-star reviews, alerts set on OpenTable, and the percentage of reservations made in advance.

Boston recently made culinary news when a South End omakase restaurant earned the city's first Michelin star.

Here's what to know about the Boston Greek restaurant named one of the top establishments in the nation by OpenTable.

Boston restaurant named one of OpenTable's 2025 Top 100 Restaurants

Krasi, a Greek wine bar in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, was named one of OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants of 2025.

Located steps away from the popular Newbury Street shopping strip, the restaurant boasts a wine list of more than 180 selections.

"Krasi is love. Krasi is life. Krasi is wine, literally," OpenTable says on its website.

Krasi also serves an array of Greek dishes, including Mediterranean sea bass wrapped in grape leaves and garlicky Evritania lamb, by chef Brendan Pelley. Brunch items include spanikopita and gyro benedict.

The establishment is rated 4.8 stars on OpenTable, based on more than 2,100 reviews.

Because Krasi is a small restaurant, OpenTable reviewers recommend making a reservation before visiting. Diners have praised the tzatziki and braised octopus.

When is Krasi open? How expensive is it?

Krasi is located at 48 Gloucester St. in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood.

The restaurant is open daily for dinner from 5-11 p.m., as well as for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to OpenTable, diners can expect to spend around $31 to $50 per person.

The restaurant features a bar and lounge, gluten-free and vegan options, an outdoor patio and a gender-neutral restroom, OpenTable says.
